Rachel Comey is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-driven eCommerce Operations Specialist to support the daily operation, functionality, and performance of our online business. Reporting to the eCommerce Director, this role ensures smooth platform integration, accurate product presentation, efficient order flow, and clear communication across cross-functional partners including OMS, Customer Service, Retail, and Production.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Integrations & Technical Operations

Monitor and maintain key integrations between our eCommerce site and Order Management System (Teamwork).

Project manage open tickets and submit change requests to improve workflows and user experience.

Support the setup, testing, and maintenance of third-party tools (e.g., Narvar Returns, Shopify apps).

Troubleshoot and escalate payment processing or technical issues as needed.
Site Operations & Optimization

Conduct daily quality checks on product listings and website functionality.

Complete weekly site walkthroughs and recommend optimizations for the customer journey and on-site standards.

Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of the eCommerce platform.

Develop a quarterly optimization roadmap, focusing on improving third-party apps (e.g., size/fit tools) and overall onsite performance.
Order & Inventory Management

Monitor daily order fulfillment workflows to ensure timely and accurate shipping.

Work closely with the OMS Coordinator to resolve order discrepancies.

Oversee inventory across locations; conduct regular stock checks and ensure products are live and correctly listed on the site.
Customer Service & Team Support

Collaborate closely with Customer Service to address technical or product-related inquiries.

Assist with customer support tickets during high-volume periods.

Provide technical support for retail teams on eCommerce-related matters.

Create and maintain SOPs for internal workflows and training.
Analytics & Reporting

Monitor key KPIs and produce regular reports (weekly/monthly) on sales, returns, and operational performance.

Analyze return trends and propose solutions to reduce return rates and improve customer satisfaction.

Create and manage internal notification flows and alerts to keep cross-functional teams aligned.
About You
-
2–4 years of ecommerce experience, ideally within fashion or apparel.

Strong proficiency with Shopify Plus.

Experience with ecommerce platforms and tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Gorgias, Narvar, ShipStation, or similar).

Working knowledge of GA4 or other analytics platforms.

Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

Basic HTML is a plus.

Data-driven, analytical, and solutions-oriented.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proactive, resourceful, and eager to stay ahead of digital and ecommerce trends.
